You have just received an email from your employer inviting you to activate your Arkevia digital vault, and the link leads nowhere. Or you have changed your phone and the saved password has disappeared. These situations are common because most employees only use their MyArkevia space once or twice a year, when looking for a payslip for a loan application or a tax declaration.

This guide focuses on the points that really cause issues: the mandatory two-factor authentication, the distinction between employer portal and personal space, and what happens when you leave your company.

Two-Factor Authentication on MyArkevia: What Changes in Summer 2026

Cegedim plans to make two-factor authentication mandatory for all MyArkevia accounts by summer 2026. Until now, a username and password were sufficient. This will no longer be the case.

The second factor will come through an SMS code or an authentication app. Each user will need to associate a phone number or an app with their account to continue logging in.

Why anticipate now? Because if you wait until the day the system requires it, you may find yourself stuck at the login screen without having configured this step. During your next login to the Arkevia space, check the security settings to see if a phone number is already provided.

If you are using an authentication app (like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator), be sure to note down the backup codes. Losing access to this app without a recovery code means losing access to the vault.

MyArkevia Portal or Old Arkevia Domain: Which Address to Use

The official login portal is www.myarkevia.com. The old domain arkevia.com does not correspond to the public login portal. Some employees still type “www.arkevia.com” into their browser and end up on a page that leads nowhere, or worse, on a third-party site.

This detail is important. When you search for “arkevia login” on a search engine, several results link to guides that mention the old address. Always start directly from myarkevia.com.

First Account Activation

Your employer triggers the creation of your space. You receive an invitation email containing an activation link. This link has a limited validity period. If you do not use it within the indicated timeframe, you will need to request a resend from your HR department.

The most common mistake concerns the email address. Use a personal email address, not your work email. Your MyArkevia account belongs to you, not your employer. If you leave the company and the work email is deactivated, you lose the means to reset your password.

  • Check your spam folder to see if the activation email landed there, especially on Gmail and Outlook which filter automatic emails
  • Choose a password distinct from that of your work email, to avoid linking your vault access to an account that may be deleted
  • Save the URL myarkevia.com in your favorites to avoid going through a search engine every time you log in

Managing the Arkevia Account After Leaving the Company

You have changed employers. Are your payslips still accessible? Yes. Access to the MyArkevia vault remains active regardless of your employer. The archived documents are kept for fifty years, or until the employee turns seventy-five, according to the service conditions.

The funding of the vault is entirely based on the company through a subscription integrated into its payroll solution. For the employee, access to MyArkevia is completely free. Even if your former employer cancels their Cegedim subscription, your already deposited documents remain accessible in your personal space.

Forgotten Password After Several Years

The reset procedure goes through the email address associated with the account. If you used your work email (the one from the company you left), the situation becomes complicated. The reset email will be sent to a mailbox that no longer exists.

In this case, you need to contact MyArkevia support directly to prove your identity and change the email address of the account. Have an ID ready and, if possible, a previous payslip to speed up the process.

Downloading Payslips from MyArkevia

Once logged in, your payslips appear sorted by date. You can download them individually in PDF format. Each document has a timestamp and encryption that guarantee its legal value.

Do you need all your payslips for a mortgage application? Banks generally request the last three. For a career reconstruction with your pension fund, you will need to go further back. MyArkevia retains the complete history deposited by each employer using the service.

Documents Other Than Payslips

The vault is not limited to payslips. Some employers also deposit employment contracts, employer certificates, or documents related to health insurance. Regularly check the documents deposited to avoid discovering a lack when you need them.

The data retention complies with GDPR regulations. You can request the deletion of documents you have added yourself, but the payslips deposited by the employer follow legal retention rules and cannot be deleted at your request.

The most concrete point to remember: update your email address and phone number in MyArkevia before you need them. A digital vault is useless if you can no longer open the door.
